Photographer Michael Domino will present “Port Jefferson: A Meditation on Time,” a documentary photography exhibition exploring the history, character, and evolving identity of Port Jefferson, at the Port Jefferson Village Center in September 2026.

Through carefully composed photographs of historic structures, waterfront spaces, architectural details, and overlooked elements of everyday life, Domino examines how a community’s past remains visible within its present.

The exhibition is part of Domino’s ongoing photographic exploration of Long Island history and preservation, focusing on places where time has left its mark. His work documents the textures, structures, and objects that reveal the stories of communities before they disappear or are transformed.
