Photographer Michael Domino will present “Heritage 2,” a documentary photography exhibition celebrating the history and cultural heritage of Long Island’s North Fork, at the Mattituck Laurel Historical Society in October 2026. The exhibition explores the region’s agricultural and maritime traditions through photographs of historic buildings, working landscapes, machinery, tools, vehicles, and objects that tell the story of generations who shaped the North Fork.Domino’s photographs focus on the importance of preserving everyday history — the barns, equipment, structures, and artifacts that often disappear quietly as communities change.
